Adele has put late David Bowie’s producer, Tony Visconti on blast – she called him adickhead, while urging him to suck her dick – for saying her vocals on the chart topping album 25 could have been ‘manipulated’ to make her sound better, ie, her voice is fake.
Visconti told Daily Star in a recent interview, “You turn the radio on and it’s fluff, you are listening to 90 per cent computerized voices”‘, he continued, “We know Adele has a great voice but it’s even questionable if that is actually her voice or how much has been manipulated.
The Brit singer wasn’t taking that insult sitting down, or standing either, as she set fire to Visconti’s rain and called him a “dickhead” on live stage in front of her myriads of fans.
Proceeding her winning the coveted Album Of The Year at the 2016 BRIT Awards, the 28-year-old star addressed the issue during her performance at the Paris AccorHotels Arena.
She jokingly said, “Some d***head tried to say that my voice was not me on record”, while adding to the amusement of her loyal legion, “Dude, why don’t you come to a show?”, before quipping, “Dude, suck my dick.”
Visconti did tender a verbal apology as he told Billboard his words had been taken out of context as he never made the statement in spite.
“I’m sorry that what I said in regards to what’s being played on radio was misconstrued yet I cannot apologize for something taken the wrong way” Visconti said, “If Adele has taken my comments as offensive that was certainly not my intent.”
The music producer added, “Adele has a great voice and it brings pleasure to millions.”
Oh well, she’s already called him a dickhead, Adele would definitely not be taking those words back.
